COVID Safe Plan

The committee has been working hard to create a plan that will allow the lodge to safely open this season.
We will be opening the Lodge on the 3rd of July.
All bookings have been cancelled as of 14th June.
  • Bookings will reopen at 8am on 16th June with equal priority of bookings for 24 hours
  • Wednesday June 17th 7:59am – Last opportunity for equal priority booking
  • Wednesday June 17th – Booking Officer and President review Day 1 bookings and resolve any dates that are over subscribed
  • Wednesday June 17th – Bookings open for remainder of season with priority based time stamp (as per normal)
  • Thursday June 18th – all members notified of acceptance or otherwise of bookings so that EPIC Passes can be cancelled if necessary prior to June 19th deadline
Nightly rates have been increased slightly for this season to reflect the increased costs of operating under COVID conditions and the economics of a shorter season at reduced occupancy levels. This approach assists in maintaining the medium term financial health of the club. IAC rates are 30-50% lower than a similar Smiggins lodge who has recently published updated 2020 rates. Please see bookings page for new rates
There will be changes to duties, and expectations of behaviours at the lodge this season will be higher, including social distancing and not attending the lodge with any cold or flu like symptoms. If you need to cancel due to a cold or the flu, bookings will be refunded without penalty.
There will be changes to food service to ensure the ongoing health and safety of everyone involved. eg. likely no savouries, significant changes to lunch and breakfast which may reduce choice and provide a simplified service.
