Juniors Bring Home the Friedl Barscht Memorial Shield

Our juniors did us proud over the weekend at the Friedl Barscht Memorial Illawarra Junior Interclub, showing not just skill on snow, but also outstanding sportsmanship.
Competing across Cross Country, Ski GS, and Snowboard GS, the team put in a fierce and determined effort. From flying down the GS course to grinding it out in the Nordic tracks, and carving it up on boards, every athlete gave their best.
That hard work and spirit paid off: our juniors came away with the win and lifted the Junior Shield, a fantastic reward for their commitment and teamwork. Congratulations to every competitor who all did amazing and contributed to the team win!
A huge congratulations to all the racers and a big thank you to parents and supporters who helped make the weekend such a success, with a special thank you to John and Lana Anderson for organising such a great event. If this is what the “junior” squad can do, we can’t wait to see the fireworks when they’re all grown up.
